Description
All illustrations in the Alak book series are made with this traditional method. First, our artist cut the images onto wooden blocks which are then used to make prints on paper.
The finished print is then lifted from the block and allowed to dry. The drying process can take hours to days.
Each print in a series is unique due to slight variations in ink application and pressure, making these woodblock prints highly valued.
The block would deteriorate with each impression and that is why we limit the print run for each artwork to 50 editions.
